with Chris Lowery,Southern Illinois University Head Coach;2005 & 2007 Missouri Valley Conference "Coach of the Year"
In this clinic demonstration, Coach Lowery goes through a number of drills to help strengthen your defensive transition game. Coach Lowery expects his post players to defend, and all players must get up into the ball and keep the 5 second count alive. The drills he demonstrates feature a number of game type situations in which your players will find themselves in. These situations include communicating and stopping the ball as a player hustles from behind, trapping at the half court line and disadvantage situations where the defenders must scramble, communication and always guard the ball. Other skills Lowery touches on are rebounding, one-on-one defense and closing out.
