Shoot free throws with a running total up to a specific number.
Start at zero. If you make a free throw, add one point to your score. If you miss, subtract two. Keep a running total until you reach your desired number. (Remember, if too many are missed, you can get into the negative).

Give the players a specific number of free throws to reach the desired number. If they don't, however many short they are they will run one length.
Make a miss worth three or four.
