Basketball Conditioning Drills - Double Suicides

Description:

Lining up the whole team---half at each baseline. It can be a strengthener of team unity, a deterrent to your weaker conditioned players. All players must finish in order to accomplish the goal.

Instructions:

Line up half of the team at one baseline,and the other half at the opposite baseline. Start either group running the double suicide; foul line,half court,3 quarter court(opposite foul line),full court(opposite baseline),then back to 3 quarter court,then half court,then foul line,then back to their original baseline.Once the first group is done,the second group starts the double suicide at their baseline.

Tips:

A minimum of 3 would get them in shape for each practice. Make sure the second group does not begin until the last person from the first group has finished completing his/her double suicide.

Variations:

Can be used as a conditioning tool or a physical,mental or a form of discipline for various team violations.
