one-step dribble move - traveling?
February 19, 2017 09:48PM
looking for some advice / feedback.

let's assume we're at the elbow. let's assume we have established a pivot foot (left). if we take one power dribble, what is the correct footwork sequence so that we aren't traveling?

we dribble on our right, left (pick up the ball), right, layup?
or is it
we dribble on our right, left (pick up the ball), right, left layup?

in that case, when we teach these power moves, are we always laying up from our off hand?

in the nba / ncaa, they rarely call these as traveling - but in high school i think they are called more often.

does anyone have videos of how one gets from the elbow to the rim in one dribble / power move?
