Tom Izzo shares his coaching philosophy on special situations - or what he calls "special teams situations." Any dead ball situation is considered a special teams opportunity and his goal is to be aggressive and pick up 4-5 points a game in special teams play.
Use these plays and strategies to go after an opposing player who is in foul trouble, generate fouls against your opponent's best player and to get the shots you need late in the game.

Izzo stresses three main goals when it comes to special teams play: Score points, have a specific purpose and have two options (inside and outside).
Izzo has used these effective plays and strategies to change his team from an NIT team to an NCAA tournament team and again from an NCAA qualifier to a team that makes a deep run in the tournament on annual basis.

I love Izzo...I didn't particularly like the sets he used in this video though. I liked the concepts he was introducing, but didn't like the sets. It isn't an awful video by any means, but I guess my expectations were higher because it's Izzo. If you have the money, buy it, but if you're thinking about getting something else, get something else.
Great for helping with new ideas for sideline and baseline out of bounds. Baseline plays are good verus zone or man defense. I'm a big Tom Izzo fan! Great video for creating new ideas with your team.
In my opinion Tom Izzo is one of the best clinicians out there. I have all his videos and this one doesn't disappoint. He gives you some great Sideline Inbounds plays that can work right now for you. He also gives you a few offensive sets against man to man pressure Defense. He adds a a Jump ball play with a second option and then a couple of nice baseline inbounds plays. Overall I thought the video was perfect. These are all things that can help you win TODAY!
